The Seljuk Han of Anatolia
Architects
Only in 2 cases, and in relatively insignificant monuments, is the architect's name given:
Dokuzun Derbent: Osman, father of Adb-er Rahman
Durak: Gavharbas ibn Abdullah
As concerns Zazadin, it is possible that Sadeddin Köpek, known as an architect, may have directed the work at the han he ordered.
We can also infer the names of two other architects from inscription plaques:
Çay: Ughulbek ibn Mohammat
Ilgin: Kuluyan al-Qunawi (whose name is also mentioned at the Gök Mederese in Sivas). This han has now disappeared.
